Kidney disease is a silent killer. There are 3 million people in the UK with it right now and there is no cure.
The average lifespan for a dialysis patient is 6 years.
Around 1,000 people in the UK die each year whilst waiting for an organ transplant, that’s 3 people every day.
1 organ donor can save 8 lives and enhance the lives of more than 50 people.
When Janice Richardson, the founder and driving force of the Bloomin Yorkshire charity, met Charlie she had a vision not of ceramic poppies planted outside the Tower of London, but of metal Yorkshire roses planted in the York Museum Garden.
The Rose was designed by 10 year old Isabell Taylor from Pudsey Primrose Hill School, the winner of a Countywide competition held by Bloomin Yorkshire in 2016.
The next stage in Janice’s journey was to find a supplier who was well enough connected to the worldwide manufacturing market to be able to turn her dreams into reality.
Parkers Bespoke Solutions has operated as this supplier for the past 2 years turning Isabell Taylor’s design and Janice Richardson’s vision into a reality.
The “Rose of Hope” is beautifully crafted and can be displayed indoors or outdoors. Each purchase goes to Bloomin Yorkshire’s cause and makes a unique gift. Display a single Rose at home, or present several as a corporate gift for clients or staff and help to raise awareness of organ donation.
Bloomin Yorkshire are hoping to exhibit at RHS Chelsea 2019 – this inspirational flower would play an integral part in the Bloomin Yorkshire show garden.
